How The Mirror collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data.
Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Introduction
The visual brand name is Th3 Mirror. In this policy we refer to the platform as The Mirror. We take privacy seriously because much of what members share here is deeply personal.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication details from our identity provider, and profile preferences you choose to share.
- Journey data: your progress, session completions, acknowledgments, Scripture checkpoints and saved items.
- Private reflections: journal entries, Mirror Moment answers, War Room focus notes and any other content you type into the platform.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store complete payment card numbers. Stripe shares subscription status, billing history and related identifiers with us so we can manage your membership.
- Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address, cookies and usage logs used to keep the platform secure and functional.
- Support requests: your name, reply email, subject and message when you contact us through the Support page.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain and secure your account and membership access.
- To save your journey progress, journal and preferences.
- To process payments and manage billing through Stripe, our payment processor.
- To send essential account emails, such as welcome messages, password resets and billing notices.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect abuse, fraud or unauthorized access.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the platform:
- Stripe for payment processing and billing.
- Our backend and authentication provider for account storage, security and database hosting.
- Our email delivery provider (currently Resend) for sending account and membership emails.
- Law enforcement or regulators only when required by law or to protect safety.
5. Your journal is private
Your journal entries, reflections and War Room notes are private to your account. They are not published, shared with other members, or used to train generative AI models. The platform is designed so that honest self-examination stays between you and God — and, if you choose, the trusted people you invite into your life.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, process payments and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies for profiling or retargeting.
7. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is protected by row-level security, authentication and strict internal controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login details private.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate account information.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export your journal and journey progress.
- Object to certain processing, where applicable by law.
To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below or use the account settings in the member dashboard when available.
9. Data retention
We keep your account and journey data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we are legally required to keep records (for example, billing information).
10. Children's privacy
The Mirror is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform grows. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email. Continued use after the changes means you accept the updated policy.
12. Contact us
Questions about this Privacy Policy or a request concerning your data can be sent through our secure Support page.
