The full journey

Every part, stage and session

Who are you afraid to disappoint? This journey is not about becoming someone who no longer cares what others think. It is about noticing where the fear of disappointing people has quietly become the thing steering your choices, your face, and even your prayers — and bringing that fear back under Jesus.

Part 1

See the pattern

Before anything changes, describe plainly what the need for approval is actually doing to your choices, your face, and your peace.

Part 2

Examine the roots

Move from behaviour to the specific relationships and beliefs where the need for approval was formed and is still fed.

Part 3

See the deception

Examine the beliefs underneath the fear of rejection, and where a false audience has replaced God.

Stage 2

Fear of man versus fear of God

See where the fear of rejection has grown larger than reverence for God.

Part 4

Walk in freedom

Practice the specific, practical habits of a person whose identity no longer depends on being universally liked.

Stage 2

Live from a settled identity

Root your sense of self in what God says, not in what others think.

This is discipleship, not therapy or medical care. Nothing here diagnoses a condition, and nothing here tells you what God is saying to you. If people-pleasing is tangled up with an abusive relationship, coercive control, or patterns that feel unsafe to name out loud, please involve a trusted pastor or counsellor alongside this journey.
