The full journey

Every part, stage and session

If they never apologise, will what they did continue controlling who you become? This journey is about the cell you may not realise you are still living in — the one built from betrayal, anger, and the refusal (or inability) to let go. It will not ask you to pretend the wound was small, and it will not ask you to reopen your door to someone unsafe. It will ask you to look honestly at what you are carrying, and to find out what Jesus actually meant by forgiveness.

Part 1

See the cell honestly

Before anything can be released, the wound and what it produced in you need to be named without minimising or exaggerating either.

Part 2

Understand what forgiveness actually is

Separate forgiveness from reconciliation, trust, and restored access — four different things that get confused constantly.

Part 3

Release the weight

Move from understanding forgiveness to actually practising it — grieving what was lost and letting go of the right to punish.

Part 4

Rebuild wisely

Live forward with forgiveness intact, boundaries in place, and discernment about who gets access to your life again.

This is discipleship, not therapy or legal counsel. Nothing here diagnoses trauma or tells you what God is saying to you about a specific person or situation. Forgiveness, as taught here, never requires reconciliation, restored access, renewed trust, or continued contact with someone unsafe. If you are currently being abused or are in danger, please contact the police or a trusted professional — this journey is not equipped for that, and no verse here should be used to keep you in harm's way.
